Sponsorship Opportunities

The Organisers of The Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials enjoy working with prospective sponsors to create a package of benefits which will provide maximum return to the sponsor for their investment.

Packages start at £2,500 and are generally tailormade but may include some of the following elements:

On-Event Opportunities

Cross Country Fence sponsorship

There is the opportunity for Sponsors to have naming rights upon and branding adjacent to cross-country fences with a board (not banner) of up to 12’ x 3’ promoting their company.

For certain fences there is the opportunity to have product or branding incorporated into the fence design itself ,or to have bespoke fences created .

At certain fences there is the opportunity to incorpoarte corpoarte hospitality and have a private fence side hospitality marquee situated near to the fence from which sponsors can entertain their guests.

NB: this facility is not available with all fences.

Drawing of all fences with mention of sponsors will be provided in the official event programme.

On-Event Trade Stand

Throughout the event there is a retail village in which shoppers will spend a proportion of their time. There is approximately 175  varied and interesting trade stands including the Lifestayle Pavilion with a number of small exhibitors within it.

Sponsors will have the opportunity to have a trade stand in the retail village. Sponsors benefit from automatic acceptance of trade stand application and prime positions (there is limited space and a considerable waiting list for the village).

Main Arena and Attractions Arena Signage

For certain sponsors there is the opportunity to provide advertising boards 20’ x 3’ for display in the main arena throughout the event and /or the nearby atractions arena.

Within the main arena all dressage (Thurs / Fri) Show jumping finale (Sunday) and a section of the cross country course run. The attractions arena is a new facility within the trade stand village and will run a programme of complimentary entertainment throughout the four days of the event.

Big Screen Sponsorship

Big screens have been traditionally positioned in the main public catering area and main arena to show all the action. Sponsorship of these screens enables the sponsor to ‘frame’ the screens with branding in addition to having an agreed number of advertising slots on the CCTV within the transmission of the event.

Members / VIP Pavilion overlooking the main arena

The Members Pavilion is restricted to specific badge holders. It provides an area where these visitors may partake of refreshments and relax in the garden / inside the marquee which is situated alongside the main arena.

The members facilities are often used by Sponsors to entertain their guests and VIP’s. The profile of ticket holders is usually A/B1 with high disposable income. Sponsorship will be heavily featured within the programme and Sponsors would have the opportunity to brand these facilities with product literature and/or host functions.

Main Arena and Attractions Arena Entertainment

Throughout the course of the event there will be a number of added attractions to entertain spectators in the attractions arena. On sunday there will also be a programe of attractions in addition to the show jumping in the main arena.  In previous years such activities have included dressage and show jumping masterclass demonstrations and non equestrian activities such as falconry and quad bike displays.

Scoreboard

The Scoreboard provides up to date information on the scores of the competitors and their placing. It is well known as a focal meeting place for many visitors.

Closed Circuit Television

CCTV provides the opportunity for a Sponsor to brand the CCTV service and the live video coverage of the action which is transmitted across the big screens within the public catering area and the main arena. The CCTV sponsor will be able to provide an agreed number of adverts for transmission during the course of the event and will be featured within the official programme.

Official Event Programme and Information sheets

All sponsors are given the opportunity for some complimentary advertising in the official programme. This is used extensively on site by all attendees to the event and kept by many as a memento of the event.

There is the opportunity for Associate level Sponsors to have recognition of their status on event information sheets such as results and starting lists.

Insertion of Information/product information into rider packs

For selected sponsors there is the opportunity to promote directly to the riders through insertion of product information/discount vouchers into the riders’ information packs.

On Event Hospitality

The Sponsor may utilize the facilities offered under Blenheim Horse Trials Hospitality packages at preferential Sponsor rates.

The main pavilions occupy prime locations alongside the main arena and enable guests to be close to the action whilst enjoying superb hospitality.

Hospitality pavilions can be hired exclusively for 30+ guests, or for smaller numbers, tables can be reserved in one of the shared pavilions.

Each pavilion has its own private garden seating area. Pavilions may be used for all day hospitality, lunch and afternoon cocktails parties, breakfast seminars, product launches and receptions. Guest speakers and course walks can also be arranged for larger groups and hospitality can be tailored to meet individual budgets.

Palace Reception

Representatives of the Sponsor will be formally invited to attend the Opening Ceremony followed by an evening reception hosted by His Grace The Duke of Marlborough, in Blenheim Palace, to mark the opening of the event on the thursday evening before the event.

Tickets & Badges

The Sponsor will receive an agreed number of complimentary ‘Sponsor’ badges, valid for entrance to the event all four days and admittance to the Members Enclosure and forward parking.

The Organiser will additionally make available an agreed number of Adult Admission passes for each day of the event i.e. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the Sponsor’s use for staff, clients etc...

The Sponsor will have the opportunity to purchase additional Adult Admission tickets, for any or all days, at a special reduced rate (50% off the Gate price) provided these are ordered and paid for by 12th August. [Children 12 years & under admitted free].

Advertising & Publicity Rights

As an Official Sponsor of the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, the Sponsor will be entitled in principle to use its association with the event in advertising, promotion and or PR before and after the event, subject to prior approval by the Organiser.
