The equestrian sport of Eventing is one in which Britain is highly successful on the world stage and is one of the few in which women and men compete on equal terms.

 It is a sport at which Britain excels and recent medal success has brought it to the forefront once again.

Over 2 million people ride horses in Great Britain each year with over half a million frequently. Of the visitors who come to Blenheim a reecnt survey showed:

59% book tickets in advance of event

97% described their experience at the event as ‘excellent’ or ‘Good’.

4 in 10 traveled within 30 miles

2 in 10 traveled 31 to 60 miles and

4 in 10 traveled over 60 miles to get to the event

23% are age 30 and under

24% are age 31 - 40

42% are age 41 - 55

12% are age 55+

Main ITV region was Central (40%) followed by London (12%) Anglia and Meridian (11% each)

60% of attendees work full time, 25% part time 8 - 29 hours 4% not working
