Blenheim Palace is home to the 11th Duke of Marlborough, and was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. It is set in 2100 acres of beautiful parkland landscaped by ‘Capability’ Brown, and is surrounded by sweeping lawns, formal gardens and a magnificent lake.
Inside, the scale of the Palace is beautifully balanced by the intricate detail and delicacy of the carvings, the hand-painted ceilings, and the amazing porcelain collections, tapestries and paintings displayed in each room.
The Palace is open daily from 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (last admission 4.45 p.m.) until 28 October. From 31 October to 9 December, the Palace and formal gardens open from Wednesday to Sunday. The Park is open all the year round from 9 a.m. (last admission 4.45 p.m. or dusk) except for Christmas Day.
All ‘Palace, Park and Gardens’ tickets include admission to Blenheim Palace, the new visitor experience 'Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story', and any entertainment except when separate admission prices are recommended. ‘Park and Gardens’ tickets do not include Palace entry.
