Macmillan Cancer Support
More than one in three of us will get cancer. For most of us it will be the toughest fight we ever face. And the feelings of loneliness and isolation that so many people experience make it even harder.
But you don’t have to go through it alone. The Macmillan team is with you every step of the way.
We are the nurses and therapists helping you through treatment. The experts on the end of the phone. The advisers telling you which benefits you’re entitled to. The volunteers giving you a hand with the everyday things. The campaigners improving cancer care. The community there for you online, any time. The supporters who make it all possible.
As the number of people living with cancer is set to double from two to four million by 2030, now more than ever, we need people like you to join our team and get involved.
At Macmillan Cancer Support, we are honoured and delighted to be the nominated charity for the Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials. What a fantastic opportunity to develop links with the equestrian community, helping to increase awareness of our services, and offer bespoke events and opportunities that we think Blenheim visitors will love.
The partnership is all the more meaningful following the sad loss of former event secretary Juliette Brindley through cancer, so we are keen to raise as much money as possible as part of her legacy to help many more people affected by cancer.
Whether you hold a Coffee Morning at your stables, take part in one of our walks, organise a sponsored ride, make a donation, help us campaign for change or give your time and energy, you can make a huge difference for people affected by cancer.
Just £25 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for an hour, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.
